About the Author: Meet Rob Reed

Welcome! My name is Rob Reed, and I’m a passionate content creator and author. But more than that, I create content for those navigating the complexities of life with neurodiversity. Diagnosed with ADHD (Inattentive-type) with ASD at the age of 36, I’ve lived much of my life navigating the challenges and triumphs that come with understanding my mental health in adulthood.

My Journey

Going through life and well into my adulthood without the knowledge of my neurodiversity meant facing unexpected hurdles. It shaped my experiences, relationships, and how I saw the world. My late diagnosis was a vital “ah-ha!” moment, offering clarity and understanding but also highlighting the need for accessible information and support for adults discovering their neurodiverse conditions later in life.

Why This Blog Exists

This blog serves as a dedicated platform for information, insights, and guidance for individuals navigating the complexities of neurodiversity. It caters to a broad audience, from those well-versed in their condition to others who, similar to my own experience, are adjusting to a diagnosis received in adulthood. Here, you’ll find resources and support tailored to diverse experiences and challenges associated with neurodiversity.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to share, support, and empower. I aim to use my voice and my words to bring to light the nuances of living with ADHD and ASD, to break down stigmas, and to build a community where information and experiences are freely shared. I believe in the strength of shared stories and the power of understanding. Through this website, I hope to offer a little bit of both.

Connect With Me

Your journey, experiences, and insights matter. I would love to hear from you, learn from you, and grow with this community. If you have stories to share, questions, or need someone who gets it, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, we can navigate the complexities of neurodiversity and mental health.
